If I were to ask you, would you rather not feel skeptical about using handmade products and yet look equally stylish? A lot of you would be hesitant, unquestionably! We have grown up to realizing, believing and being dependent on luxury and a myth that looking stylish means buying products and items from big brands which are reliable in terms of their finishing, quality, and longevity. Well, “Made In India” has long lost its importance by us-The Indians only! And to be honest, it is unfair to not see the beauty of our own products especially curated and handmade by our artisans and local vendors. We have been so damn blinded by international brands that we don’t realize we ourselves are responsible in ruining our economy. Well, I ain’t denying I am one of you as well. But keeping the stats aside, this post is all about bringing back the charm of handmade and eco-friendly products with Ecogiri Accessories. My love towards animals and my hatred towards any sort of cruelty done or harm caused to the animals by making products from it led me to be fond of Ecogiri Accessories and their concept.
So let me first give you a brief intro of what Ecogiri is all about:-
Ecogiri believes there’s a need to convince consumers that eco-friendly accessories can be stylish too. Above all, they are cruelty-free, homegrown and environment-friendly.
Usually, the term “eco-friendly” is associated with expensive and high-end products that cannot be afforded by everyone. Ecogiri carefully sources eco-friendly products from across India and makes them available at affordable prices so that everybody can own handmade and eco-friendly products.
Their range of sustainable accessories is an excellent alternative to materials procured from animals and chemicals by cruel and unethical methods. These materials cause tremendous pain to innocent animals and harm our environment as well.
By using Ecogiri’s products you are saving animals and undoing the damage done to our planet. Furthermore, you are using eco-friendly materials sourced from India’s villages, towns, artisan and rural entrepreneur communities.
So come to embrace a cruelty-free and eco-friendly way of living with Ecogiri – Sustainable Accessories for Conscious Living. They came into existence last year around December 2017 and the word Ecogiri comes from “Eco” which is eco-friendly and “Giri” which in Hindi we call as “swag”.
Their mantra is- “Sourced with care, sold with Pride”
Isn’t that an impressive concept people? I am amazed by their products which are colorful, quirky, edgy and most importantly multi-purpose and affordable. Come, see how I used their products in my way.
So to tell you all honestly, I have grown reverse in technology all because of technology.
Earlier I used to note down all my points or reminders conveniently in the phone but well, thanks to the influencer life that I am onto, it has become a part and parcel of my life to have a diary handy so that I can pen down any content related thought that comes to my mind.
This colorful and vibrant wood-free diary is made from paper derived from cotton. Also, how exciting is their concept of the pencil. It’s made from paper and it’s cap contains seeds that are useful when the pencil gets short as one can stub it in the soil, water it and see it grow!
Lastly, the quirky palm leaf coaster is an absolute love. I am surely going to use it at my bedside.
Alright! Isn’t Monsoon + Weekend = Picnic Time ️?
This big colorful palm leaf basket is a perfect spacious basket to store all picnic-y items like fruits, mats, tiffins, playing cards and rackets or balls. Banana fiber mats are perfect to sit on while eating food or playing cards with family for a chill weekend in the awesome weather!
Ecogiri products have literally taken the quirky factor in my wardrobe up a notch. Their products have made it easy for me to store my daily essentials and cosmetics in an organized manner.
– The colorful palm leaf box acts as a pencil case but given its versatility, it’s a great product to store my eyeliners, kajal, cc cream, mascara and other makeup essentials!
-the smallholder with orange threads is made from Sabai grass by women in Odisha. This grass grows on the river banks and is harvested to make beautiful items. I am using this to store my nail paints.
-the cotton pouch which they lovingly call “taarein hai baraati” and the other green printed pouch helps to store my lipsticks, blush, compact and well my keys, charger and earphones making them both a very useful travel kit indeed.
Recently, all my blogger buddies planned a potluck dinner party on a Saturday evening and well I didn’t mind giving an edge to my look with this oh-so-pretty zig-zag clutch from Ecogiri Accessories. It is quite spacious to store in your items you need with you at a party for some in between touch-ups like a compact, blusher, lip balm, lipstick, mascara, etc.
For a casual brunch day out, I picked up this brown clutch which again amped up the bohemian vibes I clearly wanted to build for this look. To be honest, I am not a fan of such brown shades, but this one was only adding a more vibrant element to the entire look.
With Ecogiri Accessories, every corner of my house is now filled with environmentally friendly products that make me feel a bit closer to our nature. Can’t deny, it has brought some sort of positivity and happiness in my life. I suggest you check out their collection which is perfect for all women of any age group and style. They’ve even added so much color to my Instagram feed… :-p
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay happy, love the environment, feel grateful for the good weather and adapt the go-green funda to your life.
Until next time,
