Hey there, wassup? So with this post, I am taking you through one of my most favorite kind of jewelry pieces: Earrings. I think earrings if worn right, can take your outfit from “zero” to “ten”. For me, earrings are hero accessories. Usually, I am more likely to be “less is more” kinda person, but on some days I like to take my style up a notch with delicate yet stylish accessories. Speaking of accessories or more precisely earrings, I believe in smart shopping. You don’t need to splurge a lot to buy something that’s eye catchy. Just the right knowledge of what you need, a tad bit insight of the place where you tend to shop from and well, lots and lots of bargaining qualities.
From casual & ethnic to cocktail & formal, I loved how these uber stylish earpieces caught all the attention:
I love big earrings that have small detailing on the bottom. These pretty little silver jhumkis at the bottom of designer chunks are to die for. If you ask me, these kinds of earrings are best suited with plain kurtas like this one and/or even with any plain off-beat color top for an Indo western look.
Simple yet stylish with a touch of marble finish on the earrings, I paired these with a woolen kurta. These would also go well with any formal shirt or a cocktail dress, hence making these versatile.
Coming to the next kind, these are delicate and formal. From formal work wear to formal party wear, these would go with em all. Minimal and classy, totes my kinda taste!
From celebrities to commoners, everyone is spotted wearing tassel earrings nowadays. Given the popularity of these earrings, street shops are flooded with wide range of colors of this kind. So I went for this gorgeous shade of blue as I felt they would do complete justice to almost all the color of outfits that I have.
Another one that I bought from my street shopping haul were these big stud earrings in a pastel color. Oh-I so loved these at first sight and I guess these pretty much worked the best to complete my formal look.
Another pastel shade in blue that caught my attention was these pretty round meenakari earrings. What I loved the most about these was the artistic paintwork and little blue drops in the bottom. These go pretty well with off-beat colors.Priced at Rs. 60/- these were a great purchase at such a cheap price
How could this post be complete without silver oxidized earrings which are a specialty of a city like Ahmedabad and more so street shopping? These are so lightweight and can amp up the look of any plain kurta.
So, people, this is it for the post. Let me know in the comments section where do you buy most of your earrings from? Do you also love street shopping for accessories and stuff like I do? It’s so convenient, trendy and pretty at the same time, right? So why indulge in burning your good earned money in expensive stuff when you can get it at a very reasonable deal?
